The Liberal Democrats believe all UK citizens living abroad should be able to vote for MPs in separate overseas constituencies
Other countries who do this already, include France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania and many others.
These MPs would be especially alert to the needs of the nearly 5 million Brits living overseas, as well as accurately representing their views on domestic issues inside the UK.
