Your voting rights from January 2024
The Elections Act 2022 has removed the 15 year limit on voting rights for an estimated 3.5 million Brits living abroad. The new system is due to be available for registrations in January 2024
Overseas voters will be able to register via the government website, providing evidence of ID and previous residency in the UK (there will be lots of ways you can provide this evidence).
